"Hiring Clay was worth every dollar for Casas Del Oro Norte. We started with him a few years ago. Various asphalt contractors gave us a different assessment as to what we needed for a road management program. Also, a Reserve Study company 'scared' our community by saying we needed to totally replace our roadways soon. Thankfully, some board members were smart enough to recognize we knew nothing about this subject and were suspect that we were getting knowledgeable unbiased information. Clay was located through web searches. We ultimately hired him to do a Roads Study (Evaluation) for us. He gave us a comprehensive analysis of our situation and laid out options for going forward over 10 - 20 years. This gave us the opportunity to effectively plan/prioritize our major expenditures and obtain closure within the community around this issue. When the time came, in 2020, to implement part of the Study, we received inputs that varied widely from Contractors as to what to do, when etc. We wisely again turned to Clay. He worked with us to set objectives, prepare Requests for Proposal, performed bid analysis, and helped us select the right thing for us. He never told us what to do but advised us based on what we told him. Once we finalized on a contractor and scope, he managed the work on our behalf. Did we do what he recommended? We did, and are very glad to have had him there to guide us."
